• The Crossroads Chapter service area covers more than 167,480 local people in the Victoria, Calhoun, Dewitt, Goliad, Jackson and Lavaca counties.
• The American Red Cross has received an A+ rating from the American Institute of Philanthropy for its proven ability to get quick relief to disaster victims while using every dollar wisely; Charity Navigator has designated the Red Cross a 4-star charity, its highest rating.

* Feed and shelter a family of 4 for 5 nights
* Deploy an Emergency Response Vehicle (ERV) for 2 days
* Provide 8 Red Cross disaster relief workers with travel, meals and shelter for a day
* Cover the cost of bulk supplies (flashlights, trash bags, bleach, insect repellant, etc.) for 6 families
